Japan and Ireland lead in the size of wealth per capita in the world, said the report issued by the Bank of Ireland (Bank of Ireland).
The annual study, entitled "Consistency nation" covering some countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Following the 2006 personal average Irish person was 196,000 euros compared to 168 thousand euros in 2005. At the same time, prices of comparable size of the average private residence of Japan is a little over 200,000 euros, compared to 182 thousand in 2005.
Japan and Ireland have left behind OECD countries such as Italy, UK, USA, Canada, Germany, France.
The amount of personal wealth is put at an estimated cost of real estate, personal property, banking and pension contributions.
In addition, the survey found that the increasing number of millionaires in Ireland, where in 2006 there were 33,000 (2005 - 30,000). Given that the population of Ireland is 4.25 million, it can be concluded that about one in 130 th Irish has a personal wealth by more than one million euros from the report.
